As we eat of the bread
prayerfully aware,
The single loaf,
the one way
the bread that gives life
His body, given for us
broken and shared
offering us a way
back to the Father,
the creator who sent him
whom he alone has seen
Mortal and divine
the son, our brother
the savior of all
