Three parts to the story,
in the telling of the way of prayer
the words to raise,
persistence in the face of trial,
and the harvest, the bounty,
the answers to prayer
So much meaning in the
parts of the scripture,
in the lesson of the Savior,
the worth in the intoning the words,
the communing of our spirits,
the bending of our knees
before the creator.
He will answer our prayers
in ways momentous and sublime,
glorious and unfathomable.
We who are base, evil,
would give much
for neighbors in need,
how much more our loving father,
in answers to prayer.
