When the same reality
the drip drip drip
the slow water torture
unresolved, unchanging
when the same constitutes
a change in circumstances
not moving forward
no conclusion reached
statis itself, remaining still
inertia, entropy, eroding
changing stones, lives etched
in the passing of time alone
