The influences of air and sky
Are side lights from the eternal throne
That fall upon the watchful eye
Of him who silent waits, alone,
And crown him master of his own.
He knows the beauty of the rose;
The central sun, the farthest star he knows.
The balance of a blade of grass,
The winds that in the meadows run,
Gathering incense as they pass
To offer to the thron
