    I've got to assert myself because the big fellow (Yao Ming) is out and we need more scoring. I need to do more out there on the offensive and defensive end. It's all about attacking from start to finish.

    My thing about numbers is that people who write about the game should never look at Yao Ming and reduce what he stands for to numbers.     It's as important as anything I've ever done as owner. To have the next great big man of the NBA, it's very important for the team and the city. We're trying to win championships, and anything that takes away from that concentration (such as contract issues) hurts. I think we can be one of the top three teams in the West.
