    I like this park. I don't like that it has a first-base dugout, though, cause I have to run further to left field. We even have that at home. Can we change that.

Sometimes that lights a fire under your (butt). It's nice that we came out and got the win, bottom line.


    He threw the ball real well, and I thought he was getting better as the game progressed. It's heartening to see, it really is. The thing that hurt us was the walk (to Catalanotto) because it opened up the first-base hole, and they hit a couple of balls right through there.


    I tried to make a line drive to the first-base side. I was a little disappointed it was a fly ball. I didn't care how far it went. The team needed a runner moved up. If the right fielder catches the fly ball, that doesn't happen. I was fortunate it was far enough he couldn't catch it.

    I just told the first-base umpire that he made his call a little too quick. It was a close, bang-bang play, and we all saw that the call was not the right decision. I just told the guy to let the play develop a little bit longer before calling him out or safe.

    We felt like if we could get a couple of more runs, we could really break it up and put a little distance between us. The guys did exactly what they were supposed to do. Phillip Vance did a great job putting it down the first-base line, where we asked him
