He's the type of guy that's going to do all the things that you want to do. He understands the scheme that we're playing very well. There's been five practices, and are those guys that have made improvements, are they flashes in the pan or are they guys that you really feel like are going to make a mark and help contribute next season So really before I say anything I want to wait a little bit more to see how they do in some more practices.

There will be two guys competing. I don't look if a guy is a walk-on or a guy is a scholarship player. I'm looking at who is the best guy that's going to give us our best opportunity to win. That's who we're going to go with. Walk-on or scholarship means nothing to me.

The schedule that I've already made for beginning in August, I know this Regardless of wind, rain, snow, sleet, whatever it may be, I'm never going to have to worry about changing. We can set a schedule and if I want to practice at 315 every day, we can practice at 315. Every day we're going to practice at 315 whether it's outside or it's inside. It will be nice when that day comes.

After watching tape Friday night and after four days, there's been a lot of improvement since the first day that we were out here. We've got a lot of guys working hard and a lot of guys making some steps. We've still got a lot more that we want to accomplish, but I'm pleased so far with what's taken place through five days. So far we're healthy, too. We haven't lost anybody in five days, which is important.

There were some positives. No one got hurt.

He's demonstrated to me to have the best work ethic. He has the most passion of the next best tackle that I think we have on our team. He has the size, the strength and the athletic ability we're looking for. I just felt as we head into spring that he's going to line up there. It's based on what he's done and what other guys didn't do.

One thing that Dennis can do is that he can do all the things we are going to want to do offensively in order to be as successful as we possibly can.
