    By the end of the year, I do want to be the No. 1 player in the world. That's a goal of mine. I want to be in contention every week.

    We're very good friends. A lot of people misjudge her. She's younger than everyone. But if she's bringing more attention to women's golf and more money with higher purses, that's great for me.

    I think right now, the rivalry in my mind is obviously Annika. She's the No. 1 player in the world and she's done so much for women's golf, and I respect what she's done.

    I feel great. I knew I had to play good golf coming down the stretch. I knew if I just stayed patient and kept giving myself birdie looks everything would be OK.

    I just don't think there has been anybody out there that's been able to challenge Annika in the last couple of years. And now there are people.

    I put the most pressure on myself. I'm very hard on myself. I expect perfection when I'm out there, ... I'm going to go out and play good golf and be, hopefully, a team player, and just wish on the USA, I'll be behind everybody 100 percent.

    I can only take care of myself. My biggest rivalry is the golf course. You just try to go out as low as you can and give yourself a chance to win. There are so many different age players playing well, it's exciting.

    That's pretty remarkable what she does. I got to play with her (Tuesday), and she's such a good kid. She's fearless on the golf course she just steps up and hits it and hits it again.

    She won the tournament, so whatever works works. I know she was very (slow) today. I'm not really like that. I'm a more feel kind of person. Give me the numbers and the wind and we don't need to talk about every little angle out there.

    I paid so much attention to them I forgot what I was doing out on the golf course. Ever since then, it doesn't matter who I play with. I'm in my own world now, and I learned a lot from them.

    When you get on hole 15, 16, you kind of realize, OK, you are probably not going to win this tournament, ... Let's try to make birdies and get second.

    I wouldn't set goals that I didn't think I could achieve. ... I wanted to win a major this year. That didn't happen. I don't feel satisfied unless all my goals are reached.

    We were really hot on the front nine but the back nine - we played it one over - was really frustrating because we gave ourselves a ton of birdie opportunities but couldn't convert.

    That's the hardest thing after a year like I had last year. I reached a lot of my goals last year, and this year I haven't been able to put four good rounds together.

    I don't think my feet ever touched the ground for the rest of the year. When I went back to celebrate with everybody it was a lot of fun. It went by so fast. I wish I could go back and re-live that moment.

    It's so awesome. It's incredible really. You always want to see her do well, but I know she has worked so hard to get ready for this year. She's a role model for everybody out here.

    I never really got a rhythm going from the beginning. I gave myself chances to make birdie and it never really happened. It was just one of those days where the hole wasn't four inches - it felt like two inches.

    I was so nervous I was shaking watching her, ... She had a decent putt and I knew I had to make mine.

    I think I'll be able to handle it. I love pressure. I play my best golf when I have pressure. I love big galleries.

    To me it feels like Michelle has been a pro for a long time. But it's different than being an amateur golfer. There is just that extra little pressure that gets put on you.

    I don't know about overshadowing. She just has raised the bar for women's golf and she's made it a better sport right now. She's brought the more physical aspects into the game, being longer and stronger. The main thing is she is just stronger and can hit it further than anybody out here right now and that is a huge advantage. She has just raised it for so many players.

    It's definitely something that's not written down in a book that you can read about, ... I couldn't do what I do without my parents.

    Definitely a lot more girls having pink, and with their ribbons in their hair, ... It's cute. They seem like they're all getting started. It's nice to know they're out there watching us.

    There is a huge difference, especially in the rough. The ball either sits up or sits down and have to hit a 58-degree wedge out. It is just one of those things. Like Natalie said, it is a great golf course and a very good test of golf. You are going to have to hit demanding shots out there. You can't just hit it anywhere and you have to be on your A game.

    I like this golf course a lot. Last year I took third, so I'm feeling very confident with it.

    I always wanted to win on a traditional style golf course. It's like the courses I grew up playing in Northern California.
