Often, patients show mental illness and insobriety at the same time. People say that we should hold off on treatment until a patient is clean and sober, but it doesn't work that way.
Everyone has been great. We've worked out the kinks, and I think it's working quite well considering the shortage of beds across the state for patients without insurance.
