    He's been back a couple of times for visits since he left, but he was so pumped coming over on the charter. He's so excited. It's great to see.

    Today was just to get moving out there, get a little bit of a sweat, get rid a bit of the jet lag. We tried not to sleep today, we're trying to get adjusted as quickly as possible.

    When you're playing a lot of hockey, four days off is nice, only because it doesn't come often. You wouldn't want it every other week, but once in a while it's good for the body. We've been going since mid-September, so any time you can get it, it's not a bad thing. I don't mind the rest.

    Any time you play them it's a great hockey game. There's a great history there and it's exciting.

    When you think of Canadian hockey, he was the greatest ever to play the game. When he talks, everybody listens. He has that much knowledge and respect, and whatever he has to say is important. It's not that we can't win without him, but we feel that much stronger with him.

    Definitely four years ago, you had the names and you went with them. Now some of those guys got older and a lot of young guys are coming in, and it is tougher for sure. But I'd like to think that's a good thing for Canada, you can't really go wrong. There's going to be great players left off the team.

    We weren't very good, that's obvious, and there's no real explanation. We can't worry about this game it's over now. We have to keep our heads up and get excited for the playoffs.

    We've had some bad starts lately and we wanted to make sure the start of this game was a lot better. We played a solid first period and that gave us momentum. We've been playing a lot of catch-up lately and we didn't want to do that again.

    The game is going back and forth a lot quicker. It's nice. The players love it, and I hope the fans do.
