Egotistical, violent, arrogant, lustful, angry, envious of everyone, they abuse my presence within their own bodies and in the bodies of others.


    Charity performed at an improper place and time and given to unworthy persons without respect and with contempt is charity in the mode of ignorance.

    But their knowledge, whose ignorance is destroyed by the Self-knowledge, reveals the Supreme like the sun (reveals the beauty of objects of the world).

    The path of light and the path of darkness of materialism and ignorance are thought to be the world's two eternal paths.

    Out of compassion I destroy the darkness of their ignorance. From within them I light the lamp of wisdom and dispel all darkness from their lives.

    The sage awakes to light in the night of all creatures. That which the world calls day is the night of ignorance to the wise.
