I have the benefit of experience which tells me that sulking solves nothing
The pain has left but I know that it has not gone far, that it is sulking somewhere in a corner or under the bed and it will jump out when I least expect it.
However, never daunted, I will cope with adversity in my traditional manner ... sulking and nausea.
Cole was our biggest cheerleader. That was good to see. He wasn't on the bench sulking and feeling sorry for himself. He was thinking about the team.
We've got veterans who know how to get out of those situations. Sometimes when you're on a losing streak, you start feeling sorry for yourself. But, hey, life goes on and games go on, and there're going to keep playing them while you're sulking. So you've got to let it go and win the next one.
When Stark isn't off sulking somewhere, or whatever he's doing when he won't return my calls, I alternate between the two. That usually works well, though occasionally an idea for the wrong guy drifts through my mind.
We're not sitting down sulking and feeling bad. We're rallying around what we've got, and we feel we've got plenty intact. We have full confidence that we can give ourselves a chance to win.
