The supple full body
Of the beautiful butterfly
Chest heaving, pulse racing
Is held down/held
By the claw of the scorpion
Eyes afire, intense
She is stung
Not by poison/his venom
But by his passion
Their love
Harsh and tender
Overwhelming,
Lost and found
In each others arms
