We were blessed, by a singular sight
after our time on the beach, at the picnic
a slice of color, cut into the screen
the piece of the dome
a segment of a bow
vertical in the summer sky
color against the blue
growing for a few moments
iridescent, shimmering in the sunny sky
growing, posing, long enough,
for us all, to marvel
