Her pirouette
caught, held captive
spinning around the invisible cord
her arms akimbo,
bent up to her chin
her leg, toes pointed
to the ground
tethered dancer,
blowing in the breeze
watched for a moment
by this adoring fan
seeing you from down below
watching your dance
in place
