As if we are in the garden
that night with Jesus
his body shaking
tears before the telling
his story of evil
wrought in his life
The message of covenant
of walking with our Savior
through the trials
struggles
the walk of our lives
each of us needing
to be mindful of this message
a glimpse of God’s love
pouring down on us
lifting us up.
