State it plain
all who have voice
shout from the heavens
heed the master’s call
In service to our king
giving him our all
Our lamp shining
raising on high
above the pedestal
to the mountaintops
blazing for the nations
bearing the message to all
sharing with our neighbors
the majesty of God

Psalm 40:8-9 (God’s Word Translation)
(posted on Ruth’s office door)
“I am happy to do your will, O my God.”
Your teachings are deep within me.
I will announce the good news of righteousness
among those assembled for worship.
I will not close my lips. You know that, O LORD.”
