We took turns
Watching seagulls there
Walking on
A tilted shore
Of ancient waves
And modern ships
Sparkling in a
Merchant’s breeze-
Holding hands
And getting wet
In Monte Carlo
Memories:
You and I washing
In a crystal sunset.
