A rhododendron bush
after the ice storm
evolving marvels
leaves of ice
mirror echoes
of the green below
separating, new growth
as the air warms
in the winter sun
regal leaves of ice
glassmaker’s envy
of the perfection
in water, frozen in the cold
held by stems of,
branches of ice
