The country convulsing
wanting to be free
the east already gone
the noose tightening
but the capital still captive
in the grip of the madman
The language of his offspring
the delusion of their power
the corruption of their thinking
in claiming stability
in the face of the murder
the chaos the mercenaries
prowling the streets
Soon this will be over
but the cost immense
the freedom not soon enough
Oh let there be peace
