We are to be like Jesus
submitting to God
taking up our cup
the bile of sacrifice
to take up our cross
as did our Savior
grasping his cross firmly
going to Calvary
We are his servants
his friends, children
brothers and sisters
children of the king
we are to be light
salt of the earth
our clay quickened
by his Spirit within
leading us to share
to bear his light, faithful
offering power
in the healing he can bring
sharing freely
far from our comfort
offering Christ to all
that they may live with him
