Fill our hearts Lord
in this waiting season
the season before your coming
as a child to the earth
Fill our hearts Lord
fill them with joy
the awareness of your coming
washing over the earth
Sharing the love of Jesus
the grace of your coming
walking humbly with us
going the way of the cross
Our hearts overflowing
sharing the message of joy
the hope in your promise
through you we are restored
Reconciled with the Father
through the sacrifice of the Son
filled with the Spirit
guiding all the way home
Fill us Lord that we may be poured out
humbly, as your servants
offering hope to the world
especially in this season
