Christian lives, bearing witness
love of the creator, the love of the son
the covenant they offered, the grace they share
the gifts of the spirit, of the savior,
gates of heaven, heaping grace on grace
Lives of the saints before us, flawed and bruised
witness to the work we all can do
the broken and weak, the infirm and proud
all can serve, for God’s glory
Christian lives, setting an example
changing the rules of the world
offering hope for the future
so his kingdom will come
