We ate on the water,
floating with the wind, the waves,
enjoying the bounty, the feast
the sun, the clear skies,
the fellowship
a nautical feast;
Wet towels, smiling faces
friendship and family
rising and falling with the swells
a pickles and cheese sandwich,
veggies and dip,
leftovers for dad;
a gooey snack, a laugh
fun on the water
under the clear blue sky
