Praying for your loving arms
a hedge of protection
the enemy kept at bay
our attention focused on you
Not listening to the wind
keeping vigilant, mindful
our oil ready
for the bridegroom’s coming
All of us together
witnessing as we are able
standing against the darkness
shining the one true light
Going where we are sent
called and answering
“Here I am Lord;
send me in your name.”
