Each day is a new day,
another day given for us
to choose how to use it
for good or for ill
for fallow of harvest
Use each day
to rekindle the gift of God
the knowledge of the gift,
the sacred gift of grace
bonding us to God
a living gift of faith
of believing without seeing
or seeing because of the believing
rekindling the gift of God
the flame of love
deep within our beings
within our souls,
within our hearts
