Two years almost gone by
of the day we wed
on the stone bridge
in the park
in the snow
A handful of friends,
our daughters
and the cold wind
Your blue dress,
my snowflake tie,
a beautiful silk bouquet
words we wrote together
to share
Scripture with deep meaning
for us, to read together
through the tears
Two rings, a kiss, a toast
sealing the moment
we wed
