We must remember
the failing of Solomon
ignoring the call of God
in the way to stay close to Him
The wisdom that God gives us
that we would stay faithful
turning from the siren’s call
and cleave to our God instead
The world around us
seeking our destruction
that we would fall into
the pit of our sinful selves
God alone leading
us away from destruction
guiding us to heaven
if we will heed his call
