Ancient flyers of the sun
tail like an alligator’s flesh
skeletal cellophane wings
multi-celled eyes that a sci-fi writer could only dream
Hands on my hand
grabbing with barb and weightless grace
ready for the closeup, the glossy
made for publicity
well here it is…
