A grateful relief
is the scripture,
to make a joyful noise
How wonderful, for me,
if not for the others around me in worship
that the King of Kings calls us
to only make a joyful noise
Freedom to praise in song
even when we could never, ever,
join the choir. How wonderful
to joyfully join those who could
in the pews of the sanctuary
in songs of praise and worship
to our God
